      Hi Michelle,
I know this is a great point to make, because I wrote about the very same thing yesterday on my own blog!
So many miss this step, and yet it can be done so easily, and doesn't necessarily have to be 'hypey' in your face either!
      Cheers,
      Gordon

One of my mentors uses late night infomercials as an example for the "call to action." You must tell your visitors, clients, subscribers, etc. what you want them to do. In general, people want to please and you'll get what you want more often than not.

      Your tutorials are very helpful.

      Hi Michelle,
I sure do use calls to action. I've also got a list of examples from around the web of wording I like if I'm unsure how I want to include it.
      Cheers, Caylie

Thank you Michelle, although I do use 'call to action' I'm always aware of not wanting to be in people's faces or be pushy. Yes, I do want people to buy my book and use my services, but I also want my readers to enjoy my articles and learn something without thinking, "this was just to get me to buy something!"
I know, I'm told all the time, I need to toughen up!
Blessings and thank you again Michelle

        Hi Dawn,

Most often my call to actions in blog posts are soft – inviting comments, sharing, etc. I don't do as much outright "hey buy this!" as I should be.

But really I don't look at it as getting tougher, but focusing more on being of service. If I know my products/services can really help those I work with then I've got to be putting that option on the table and letting them know! :)
