Happy 4th of July, Americans!

Forgoing my usual blog post today for a beautiful video of the Declaration of Independence. Thank you to all those who’ve served and are serving now to defend and protect Liberty both here in America and abroad. Regardless of political beliefs we can all be thankful for the freedom to voice our beliefs and pursue happiness.

  1. Great sentiment! I lived abroad for 12 years and my other American friends there put aside our political difference in favor or our common gratitude for our mother country. How great is it that we live in a place where we GET to complain about our government without harrassment or worse? The best part of independence is independent thinking.

Saw “The Madness of King George” at the Old Globe Theater here in San Diego on Saturday — apparently the King knew all too well what he had lost in the Revolution.

    Happy birthday, America!
