We live in the digital age where entrepreneurs have the internet and social media. What did entrepreneurs do before this? Before electricity?
From Grasshopper Group comes this cool illustration of the evolutionary history of the entrepreneur through the ages… Which period do you think you’d have done well in?

There’s something about cartoonish drawings. Put anything in a cartoon and it’s just cooler that way. ;)

WAY cool infographic.
To answer: “Which period do you think you’d have done well in?”
Since I love language arts, I would have jived nicely with the Phoenicians — they were the first to use the alphabet. =)
Totally enjoyable post — thanks!

Fun point! Yes, I’d want to be in a time period that had figured out writing, too. :)

Hi Michelle,
Love this illustration. Funny that they talked about Roman merchants. I have another personal blog about my life in Rome and last week, I was bothering my husband to visit the Trajan marketplace! It’s so well designed and organized and this was thousands of years ago! Revenge of the Geeks is hilarious but true :)
All the best,
Diana

So neat! It’s cool to look back through history and realize the different times, different tools, but same drive, imagination, and brilliance.

I enjoyed the illustration.^^ I’m proud to be a woman and I might have done well in the “ladies’ turn” era.

Personally I’m glad not to have lived before then – would have been tough to be an entrepreneur before women broke into the business world. :)
