Give Us 31 Days–We’ll Help You Create a Better Blog

31 Days Blog Challenge Begins March 1

ST. LOUIS, Missouri – The 31 Days Blog Challenge is back! This six-week program, beginning on March 1, 2011, provides new and seasoned bloggers with a variety of tasks, tactics and strategies to gain new blog visitors, increase blog subscribers, enhance their blog’s Internet visibility and provide the basis for improved blog analytics.

The challenge takes bloggers through a variety of tasks including:

•   Ideal client identification
•   Specific post types to gain readers
•   Analysis of competitive blogs
•   Reader problem identification
•   Commenting on other blogs
•   Joining a forum
•   Blog analytics tracking, etc.

The challenge utilizes the ebook, 31 Days to Build a Better Blog, written by Darren Rowse, aka, ProBlogger, in 2007. As stated by Rowse on the cover of the ebook, [This challenge] “is designed not only to fill your head with knowledge ABOUT blogging, but also give you some concrete things to actually DO something with the knowledge.”

The 31 Days Blog Challenge isn’t about writing a blog post every day; it’s about digging into the whys and wherefores of blogging success and putting them into action in a real way that can be repeated as necessary.

The program runs from March 1 through April 12, 2011. While there are only 31 days of tasks, the program’s expansion to six weeks gives participants weekends off and the chance to catch up should they get behind during the week.

To register, interested bloggers can visit the challenge website:  http://www.31daysblogchallenge.com. As an added incentive, they can take advantage of the discount code, which reduces the ebook cost by $5.00 U.S. The ebook retails for $19.95 U.S.

Experienced bloggers and online business owners, Lisbeth Tanz (http://www.yourwordsyourvoice.com) and Michelle Shaeffer (http://michelleshaeffer.com) are the hosts of the 31 Days Blog Challenge. “I wanted to provide a way for bloggers to experience a different way of looking at their blog – that it’s not just about writing posts on a frequent basis,” stated Tanz. “Darren’s ebook gives a strong framework for helping bloggers see beyond the obvious in the care and feeding of their blogs. It really highlights that a little love and attention can go a long way to bringing a blog out of the darkness and gaining the recognition it deserves.” Shaeffer added, “By working as part of a group instead of alone, participants have access to help as they work through each of the 31 tasks and support to stay motivated throughout the challenge.”
