Happy 4th of July, Americans!

Forgoing my usual blog post today for a beautiful video of the Declaration of Independence. Thank you to all those who’ve served and are serving now to defend and protect Liberty both here in America and abroad. Regardless of political beliefs we can all be thankful for the freedom to voice our beliefs and pursue happiness.

Blasts from the Past

Since #blog30 has sent so many new readers to my blog I thought it’d be fun to do a post featuring some of what are the most popular posts from the past.  If you’ve only recently discovered my blog, here are some of my favorite and most popular articles that you may enjoy:

Do you have a favorite article or two from your blog’s “history”?  Please share it with me, and my blog readers in the comments!  You can also share more than one or two if you’d like (but be aware it’ll get your comment flagged for me to manually approve so you might not see it show up for a little while).

And with this post, I’ve completed both #blog30 and #mini7 challenges.  Yay!  Stay tuned for more posts from me in July (but maybe not quite 30).

Does Your Website Need a Makeover to Represent Your Business Well?

When you get ready to meet a client (or potential client) do you take time to dress professionally, style your hair and apply makeup?  Of course!  Because first impressions matter!  You understand that if you don’t “dress for success” and present a professional image it’s harder for your client to take you seriously.

Is your website “dressed for success”?  It’s your 24/7 always there client greeter!  Your website is your online image to the virtual world.  What is that image conveying?

Is it working for you by generating leads, attracting ideal clients, and delivering your content and message in a way you can be proud of?  Or do you pause when people ask for your URL, hoping they don’t judge you by your website?  Does your website represent the image you want to present? In comes Terri Z at Solo-E, a virtual learning resource for solo entrepreneurs, with the Post Resolution Hangover Giveaway. This isn’t your typical giveaway…each item is a true gift, not available anywhere else for free! The value of each item is the price at which it sells today. How cool is that?!

How to Publish Your Articles on the Internet by Denise Willms

Note from Michelle: this article is a great overview of how to get started publishing your articles online!

Have you ever visited a website or blog and discovered the owner had published an article written by another business owner, along with a short biography of the author and a link to his or her website? You might have wondered how you could have someone publish an article you wrote and advertise your business like that for you.

It’s actually very easy to publish your articles on the Internet, and it’s free to do. If you’ve been sending articles out in your monthly newsletters or keeping them hidden in a folder on your computer, it might be time for you to consider publishing them on the Internet.
